Congratulations, Riders! 6th Place at the 2007 North Dakota State Tournament!

Also, congrats to the 3 players from Red River named to the state all tournament team: Alieu Sherriff and Lucas Nordrum. All State Conference team winners were; 1st team-Derek Axtman and 2nd team-Dillon McLeod. East Conference players receiveing recognition were: Rick Lofthus, Dillon McLeod, Lucas Nordrum and Derek Axtman. Well Done!

One more thanks to Tom Steen and the coaches...thanks for all your work! We will miss Coach Tom and wish him the best!

Practice schedules Practice schedules will soon be posted. Captains practice begins July 21st and tryouts begin August 11th. Besure to pay the soccer fee and get your physicals completed.

Game Sox and Clothing Orders If you need game socks please talk to Cynthia Shabb.

Team and Individual Pictures Team and individual pictures are set for Thursday, August 21st at the South Bowl. Forms have been given to the team and also mailed.
Fall Pot Luck and Parent Sign Up Attention! The Fall Potluck is set for Tuesday, August 19th. Sign up sheets with different duties will be at the potluck. Please sign up to help make the season a success. We can't do it without all of the parents!

Mark Your Calendars! The Year End Banquet Date is Set! The Banquet night has been set for Tuesday October 21st. More information to follow.

Notes from Head Coach Paulo Perez

Practices after week #1: 5:30-7:30 pm daily, see schedule posted.

Absences from practices: I encourage all players to clear your schedules so you can be ready to give 100% in attendance. If you must miss, let the coaches know well before you are expected to be there. Unexcused absences and late notification are not acceptable.

Playing Time: The amount of playing time will be determined by the coaching staff and based upon demonstrated skills and abilities, work habits, and intangible expectations telating to attitude, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
